Position
Embedded Software Development Intern
Job Description
As a Software Development Intern, you will assist in the design, development, testing, and debugging of embedded software for microcontroller-based systems. This role is ideal for a final-year student who is looking to apply their academic knowledge in a practical, hands-on environment.
Tasks
- Contributing as part of the team for development of the AL-KO VT product portfolio.
- Actively participating in team activities within an international environment.
- Collaborating closely with hardware and software development team-members throughout the product development process.
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s in electronics or previous work experience in engineering fields.
- Experience in C/C++ programming for embedded systems.
- Knowledge of widely used interfaces and protocols (UART, I2C,SPI, etc.)
- Experience in debugging and troubleshooting solutions for embedded systems–software debugging on real devices (using J-Link, ST-link).
- Good level of the English language, both written and spoken (min. B2 level).
- Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and datasheets.
Stand out by having
- Hands on experience with ESP32 or Infineon SoC programming
- Technical expertise in communication protocols such as BLE or Wi-fi
- Knowledge of Python and the creation of User Interface
- Experience creating schematic designs and PCB layouts
- Experience of using oscilloscopes, logic analyzer, and multimeters
- Knowledge of other programming languages considered as advantage
- Knowledge of smartphone app development considered as advantage
